COMMUNITY BEACH CLOSURE 18th-28th
⛱ Beach Lot Improvements
At the September 12th 2026 Q2 board meeting, members decided to proceed with the first phase beach maintenance work with full 10-day Beach lot closure from 9/18-9/28 with work days on the 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th.
There will be an initial construction kick-off meeting for all interested community volunteers on 9/18 at 5:00 PM ahead of the major work commencing the following morning. This will be a good opportunity for a bit of exercise and time with your neighbors. Please text William Fort (425) 406-0070 if you are interested in getting involved even the slightest.
ALCC is grateful for the amazing comments and contributions in early design development stages! If you have not yet contributed or support Beach lot restoration it’s not too late! Please consider donating an hour or two of your time or financial support through signup genius: Maintenance phase 1 AMES LAKE BEACH RENOVATION PROJECT
While this first phase is just maintenance of existing uses, planned future phases in 2027 of the beach renovation improvements includes the development of rockeries, playground equipment, and community gathering space with even more spaces to walk and play. Come join us on this great Ames Lake community effort!

A Guided Tour of the August Night Sky
Location: Meet at Ames Lake Tree Farm Parking Lot
Meet: 10:00PM to then start the 20 minute hike to the star
We’ll take a short hike to our stargazing spot and enjoy an unforgettable guided tour of the summer sky. Learn stories behind the constellations, watch for the Perseid meteor shower, and see Saturn shining low in the East.

The Ames Lake Community Club’s 4th Annual Egg Hunt is happening April 4th at 9:30am sharp at the community beach!
And a friendly warning… the eggs disappear FAST, so make sure the kiddos are ready to go right at 9:30.
Feel free to come a little early around 9:00am for coffee & donuts while everyone gathers.
Parking is limited, so if you live nearby please walk over if you can.
It’s always one of the most fun mornings of the year. Looking forward to seeing everyone and kicking off spring together!
